Nearby Auction Rules & Guidelines
Welcome to Nearby Auction! To ensure a safe and efficient marketplace for everyone, please follow these rules:
1. Local Meet-ups Only
All items sold on Nearby Auction are intended for local exchange. Buyers and sellers must agree on a safe, public location for the transaction.
2. The 48-Hour Rule
Once an auction is won or a “Buy Now” purchase is made, the buyer and seller must finalize the meet-up and exchange within 48 hours.
3. Facilitation Fee
Nearby Auction charges a 5% facilitation fee on the final sale price of all successful transactions to maintain the platform and verify users.
4. Bidding Privacy
To protect our users, all bidding is anonymous. Identities are only revealed to the respective buyer and seller once a transaction is confirmed.
5. Safety First
Always meet in well-lit, public areas (such as police station “safe zones” or busy coffee shops). Never share personal financial information outside of our verified payment methods.
6. All Sales Final
Nearby Auction is a peer-to-peer facilitation platform. All items are sold “as-is” and all sales are final upon completion of the meet-up. There are no returns or refunds.
7. Prohibited Items
Users are strictly prohibited from listing any items that are illegal under the laws of their local state, province, or jurisdiction. This includes, but is not limited to: weapons, hazardous materials, stolen property, and regulated substances. Nearby Auction reserves the right to remove any listing at its sole discretion.

By listing or purchasing on NearbyAuction.Com, you agree that NearbyAuction.Com is not liable for any disputes, damages, or issues arising from transactions between users.
